What does a Steward do? They assist the Chief Steward by:
Serving as liaison between members and the executive.
Ensuring good communication between the members and the executive.
Help solve problems outside the grievance procedure.
Help educate members about the CA, and the union’s role in the workplace.
Help advocate appropriate resolutions to employee/management disputes
